Diptyque, L'eau eau de Toilette

L'Eau, Diptyque's first creation from 1968, reinvents an English pot-pourri and pomander recipe from the 16th century.  It is not surprising then to find cinnamon and clove as central ingredients in this compostion.  Mixed with geranium, sandalwood and rose, these spices create a fragrance of no specific gender.  L'Eau is authentic and classic and embodies the great perfume-creating tradition.  Just like the pot-pourri that inspired it, the different olfactory phases of this scent are released gradually throughout the day:  a multifaceted changing perfume.

Diptyque's L'Eau is a perfume to be worn at any time of the day, its complex mixture of spicy and floral notes is delicate and mysterious, strange and yet familiar.  If you enjoy wearing your perfumes to suit the seasons, this one doubtless more suited to the winter.
